THE CASTELO GROUP PICNIC FUNDRAISER WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!
New Bedford, MA, September 2010-- Jose S. Castelo, President of The Castelo Group has announced that this year’s Fundraiser held on Sunday July 18th was a great success! A total of $58,655 was raised at this one day’s event. The Castelo Group will donate $35,655 to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Fall River Boys and Girls Club will receive $11,000, Schwartz Center For Children will receive $11,000 and Camp Angel Wings will receive $1,000.
“Volunteers from the offices of ERA Castelo Real Estate, Castelo Insurance and Castle Mortgage Brokerage, their families, and volunteers from the community, worked very hard to make this event a success,” said Jose Castelo. Planning and organizing for this one day event is an ongoing process throughout the year.
“It is very gratifying to see everyone join together in support of such worthy causes“. The efforts of dedicated volunteers, our loyal and faithful sponsors and the entertainers who donated their time and talents, make all the difference”, said Jose Castelo.
“We thank everyone for their support. What better way is there to help those in need than a successful event.” Jose Castelo welcomes everyone to join The Castelo Group in 2011.
Since 1988, The Castelo Group has held an annual fundraiser and has raised over $600,000 .
